Fireworks at a Wedding
25 July 2018
You often ask about additional attractions for the wedding reception. This season, one of the favorite attractions for our couples is a fireworks display. It is an exceptionally beautiful surprise that will leave a lasting impression on your guests. When organizing a fireworks show, there are a few important aspects to keep in mind:
- SAFETY – You can organize the show on your own or hire a professional company. The advantage of the first option is certainly lower costs, but you can’t be sure that the person responsible for handling the fireworks won’t be under the influence of alcohol, which could lead to injuries for themselves or other participants. Choosing a recommended company ensures safety, minimizes stress, and lets you enjoy the show.
- If you decide to plan the fireworks yourself, buy only from licensed sellers. There are many online stores with detailed descriptions and safety instructions. Avoid buying fireworks from stalls where the products may be of unknown origin.
- The minimum distance from people should be 20-30 meters, but larger fireworks with a caliber of 2 require at least a 50-meter distance.
- PERMITTING THE SHOW – The basic requirement is written or verbal consent from the owner of the land where the show will take place.
- General rules are not the same for every region. Previously, every show had to be reported to the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PAŻP). Now, the agency has a map on its website indicating whether a permit is required or not for a particular area. IN RADZIEJOWICE, NO REPORT IS NEEDED.
- Reporting to the fire department is optional, but in times of severe drought or in heavily wooded areas, it is advisable.
- SHOW TIME – Keep in mind the prohibition against disturbing the night peace, so the show must end before 10:00 PM.
